Description
The Viscosity Cup B6 is extensively used for calculating the viscosity of paints, chemicals, and lubrication. Our product measures the kinematic viscosity which is generally expressed in seconds. Furthermore, it is checked for quality under various set quality parameters. In short also called ford cup B3, B4, B5, and B6. Viscosity Brass is available on labtexbd.com
It is designed according to ASTM D1200, D333, and D365 standards and is widely used to measure the viscosity of paints, inks, lacquers, and other liquids.
- 100% Accurate Through Conversion Chart of Efflux Time.
- With a conversion chart of Efflux Time (in seconds) to Viscosity in Centistokes (CST)
- The cups can be supplied separately or with an adjustable stand which includes a precision level and an overflow glass draw plate.
- The Viscosity Flow Cups are very easy-to-use instruments made of anodized aluminum with a stainless steel orifice.
Method of Use Ford Cup Viscometer: Viscosity Flow Cups are very easy-to-use instruments made of anodized aluminum with a stainless steel orifice, for measuring the consistency of paints, varnishes, and similar products. The measured kinematic viscosity is generally expressed in seconds(s) flow time. If the Standards stipulate conversion methods the flow time can be converted into Centistokes (cSt) using the Elcometer ElcoCalc Mobile App. Calibration certificates which offer traceability and assurance that each viscosity cup has been individually tested and complies with Standards are also available. The cups can be supplied separately or with an adjustable stand which includes a precision level and an overflow glass draw plate.
Viscosity Cup B6 Viscometer Extruded Brass Cup
- Viscosity Cup:
- Measures the viscosity or thickness of liquids.
- Commonly used in paint and coating industries.
- Viscosity is determined by the time the liquid flows through a small opening in the cup.
- Various cup designs are available for different applications.
- Viscometer B6:
- A type of rotational viscometer.
- Measures the viscosity of fluids by observing the torque required to rotate a spindle at a constant speed within the fluid.
- Suitable for a wide range of fluids including oils, polymers, and slurries.
- Provides precise viscosity readings crucial for quality control in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
- Extruded Brass:
- Used in manufacturing precision components.
- Excellent machinability and corrosion resistance.
- They are commonly used in high-strength and durable applications, such as fittings, valves, and architectural components.
