Vital Black RTV VT-157SE is a high-performance gasket maker designed for heavy-duty applications. It creates durable, “formed-in-place” gaskets that resist cracking, shrinking, and shifting due to thermal cycling. Ideal for replacing nearly any cut gasket, it can also be used to coat pre-cut gaskets for enhanced sealing reliability. The formula remains permanently flexible and stable in temperatures ranging from -80°F to 600°F (-62°C to 315°C), and offers excellent resistance to automotive fluids.

Application of Vital Black RTV VT-157SE

Rear main bearing cap split line, damper key way sealing, differential cover, intake end seals, OHC cap, oil pan corner seals, oil pan gasket, side cover plate, thermostat housing, timing cover, transmission pan, valve cover gasket, vibration damper, water pump cover gasket and intake manifolds.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

1. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease, oil or water.
2. Puncture the tube with cap and install nozzle. Apply 2 – 4 mm bead to one surface only.
3. Fix the parts to be assembled before the tack-free time.
4. Uncured sealant can be cleaned up with mineral spirits.
5. Replace cap after use and store in a cool, dry place.
